BUILDING

Oxford School has a specious and sprawling building with well-Lit and commodious Classrooms for its students. It has a well-furnished principal office an adequately equipped Laboratory with modern instruments and machine for experiments in chemistry Biology and physics. A huge hall by the name of Mehdia hall is in the upper story and is used for different functions held from time to time in oxford. A very beautiful commodious library is housed in the main building of oxford. There is seating arrangement for more than 60 students. It has a treasure of more than 3000 modern and classical books on variety of subjects. These books have been divided in the following categories History, English Literature, Urdu Literature, Theology Persian Literature, Pashto Literature and science etc. The Building of this Library Consists on a reading hall measuring 16*40.Verandah measuring 40*9 Librarian office measuring 7*8 and a washroom measuring 7*8.

LOCATION

Oxford school and college is situated on the main road to Parachinar (the head quarter of the beautiful kurram valley on pak Afghan border at the altitude of 5400 feet surrounding by snow covered peaks of mountains) near Govt degree college Parachinar at a walking distance from Parachinar city. This educational institute started functioning in 1997 with the aims to provide quality education at cheaper fees to the inhabitants of this far flung backward tribal belt of kurram Agency. A dynamic managements is running this institution and struggle to bring this backward area at par with the more civilized and cultural regions of this county.it also aims to inculcate spirit of devotion in students reading here in Oxford School and College. In a very short time this institution has become a very prestigious one on account of showing the best results in curricular and extracurricular activities. The first batch of Oxford School and College appeared in S.S.C examination session 2002 and topped the whole kurram Agency and FATA as well. The second batch appeared is session 2003 and the result was the same once again.
